Meetforeal events are designed for you to meet like-minded people, share your ideas and learn something new!

This fantastic interactive discussion and presentation will be led by Dave Gilligan, photographer and design expert based in Limerick.

Dave’s presentation will look at some key photographs taken during the wars of the 20th century and some other violent events, including the history of the IRA and the decommissioning of their weapons. It will include a discussion of the cameras used by the photographers of the time and the most violent events that they witnessed.

After the presentation, there will be an interactive discussion, and space for other photographers to give a short presentation of their work.

If you would like to participate further in the event by sharing your work in a 6.40 min (Pecha Kucha) presentation, you can register here.

More details about the event here.

Admission is FREE.

Thanks a lot and looking forward to seeing you there! If you know of someone who would be interested in the event please forward this details.
